I know it's been quite a while since you last heard from me. This last year has been grueling, to say the least, but I can finally say that I am 100% finished with college! I now have a BA in English Literature and I'm on the lookout for somewhere I can put my talents to use. But the best part is that I'll finally be able to devote the time and attention to Earthbound that I haven't been able to because of my studies. At the moment my Wacom tablet pen is on the fritz, but I'll start updating again as soon as I can afford a replacement. Thank you so much to everyone who has been so patient with me and this comic, I really appreciate your kindness!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3591565421960665099.post-63616841720184685082013-01-20T23:59:00.001-08:002013-01-21T00:05:32.453-08:00Still Not Dead. Ok, the good news: if everything goes as hoped I should have my BA by the end of next spring. The bad news is that I'm taking 16 units and working part time this semester. Earthbound is not going on hiatus. Rather, I am stating here that I reserve the right to update whenever I have the time and energy to create new pages. I hope you'll all check back occasionally for any updates. You can get update alerts by following us on twitter or tumblr (links above) Thanks so much for sticking with me through this! Love you guys! *hugs*Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3591565421960665099.post-1271540590810062242012-09-11T08:32:00.002-07:002012-09-11T08:32:45.650-07:00Not Dead, Just CollegeHey guys, just wanted to give you a quick update on the state of the comic. In the last 3 to 4 weeks, I've uprooted myself from my family, moved into my own apartment, started full-time college and a part-time job. It's been... hectic, to say the least. I'm still trying to settle into my new life and routine, so my brain just hasn't been in a space calm enough for drawing. No worries though, the comic will be up and running again very soon. Think the end of September or early October. Thanks so much for your patience guys, and we'll see you soon!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3591565421960665099.post-12218081982329616252012-08-03T17:33:00.005-07:002012-08-03T17:33:50.368-07:00Short Break (We'll Be Right Back).Life has been extremely hectic for me of late, and August just promises to kick things up to an even higher gear. After weeks of apartment hunting, staying with friends or entertaining friends, job hunting (and thankfully job getting) and various other really big and really time consuming activities, I've run out of my (admittedly small) buffer for Earthbound. So we're going to take a break in August while I rebuild my buffer, move cities, start college, start my job, and hopefully get settled down quickly. We'll be back in September with a two page spread and regular updates once again. See you then!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3591565421960665099.post-39737858523325533032012-07-27T19:43:00.002-07:002012-07-27T19:43:50.094-07:00A few hours late...I've been away all week doing Grown Up Things(tm) so this update is a little late in the day. So I've figured out how to embed a blog post at the bottom of each page. Yay! It's not perfect, but it will serve. This will serve two purposes: one, it will be easier to associate comments with posts and post days (so comments for pages will no longer all be massed together on one page), and two, it will allow me to keep a backlog of my blog posts. Until now, I've always deleted each "blog" from the bottom and just written something new there. Not that I really post much in terms of exciting news, but hey, it's still pretty cool. And to access the blog archives, all you have to do is check out the blog page.
